Cleanse ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Cleanse mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Cleanse is designed as a "local-first" application. Most of your health and fitness data is stored directly on your device using a Room Database.

• Health Connect Data: With your explicit consent, we access Health Connect to read your Step Count. This allows us to display your physical activity alongside your other health metrics.
• Nutrition & Food Logging: We collect data you manually input, such as food portions. This is used to calculate your daily calorie intake.
• Workout Records: Any exercises or routines you log within the App are stored locally to help you track your fitness journey.

2. Use of Permissions

To provide a full health-tracking experience, the App utilizes the following system permissions:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To send you reminders to input your daily food and workout data.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: To ensure your reminders trigger at the precise time you have configured.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To automatically reschedule your health reminders if your device is restarted.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal health data with third-party companies or advertisers.

Our use of information received from Health Connect will adhere to the Health Connect Permissions Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on your device's internal storage. We do not maintain external servers that store your food logs, workout history, or step data. Because the data is local, you have total control over it.

5. Data Deletion

You may delete your data at any time by:

• Clearing the App's storage/cache in your Android System Settings.
• Uninstalling the App from your device.
• Disconnecting Cleanse from the Health Connect settings menu to revoke access to step data.
