Device Sentry is designed as a local hardware monitoring and diagnostic utility. Our primary goal is to provide you with transparent information about your device's performance without compromising your privacy.

2. Information Collection and Use

• No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) to external servers.
• Hardware Information: The app accesses system information (CPU, GPU, RAM, Battery, Sensors, etc.) purely to display it to you in real-time and to perform user-initiated performance tests.
• Network Information: The app accesses network state and Wi-Fi information to display connection details and perform network diagnostics. This data is processed locally and is never shared or sold.

3. Permissions

To provide its core functionality, Device Sentry requires the following permissions:

• Network & Wi-Fi State: Used to display connectivity status, IP addresses, and real-time network speeds.
• Battery Stats: Used to provide detailed battery health, temperature, and usage metrics.
• System Alert Window (Overlay): Used only if you enable the "Floating Load Overlay" feature to display hardware stats over other applications.
• Internet: Used for network diagnostic tools (such as ping) and to process secure in-app purchases.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

• Google Play Billing: Used to handle "Pro" version upgrades. All payment processing is handled securely by Google; we do not have access to your credit card or financial information.

We value your trust. Because Device Sentry does not upload data from your device, your hardware information remains private and under your control at all times.
